Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
For students: name, email, phone number with country code, grade, birthdate, gender when a parent registers the child, and optionally a parent's name and phone number.
For teachers: name, email, WhatsApp number and the age groups they teach.
If a teacher writes a public page: the text they write, the languages they teach in and their years of teaching.
Learning data: which books a student can open and their progress.
2. Why we collect it
To create the account, suggest the right book for the student's grade, open or lock books according to the subscription, and let the student's school or teacher follow their progress.
3. Who can see it
The student's own teacher, school, and the Genius MAP team. Each teacher or school sees only its own students.
A teacher's public page, once the Genius MAP team has approved it, can be read by anyone: the teacher's name, their text, languages, certified books and open groups with the number of free seats. It never shows the teacher's email or WhatsApp number, and nothing about students.
Our service providers, only to run the platform: sign-in and passwords (Clerk), website hosting (Vercel), database (Aiven), and payments and customer messages (our payment and CRM partner).
We do not sell personal data.
4. Children
Accounts for children are opened by a parent or guardian, who can ask us to see, correct or delete the child's data.
5. Security
Data travels encrypted. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider and are never stored by Genius MAP.
Important changes made by staff are recorded in an audit log.
