1. Who can use Genius MAP
Genius MAP is a soroban (abacus) learning platform for primary-stage students.
A parent or guardian opens the account for a child and is responsible for it. A parent can use their own login to register their children; each child then has a Genius MAP ID and a PIN.
2. Free trial and prices
New students get a 7-day free trial.
After the trial, a student subscription costs US$9 per month without a teacher (US$45 for 6 months, US$81 per year) or US$39 per month with a teacher (US$195 for 6 months, US$351 per year). A credit card is required.
Access ends when the subscription ends. To continue, the subscription must be renewed.
3. Payments and refunds
Payments are handled by our payment partner, not on this website.
All payments are non-refundable.
4. Learning pace
A student can move up at most one level per month, and a new book can open at most every 30 days.
While waiting, the student can keep practising the current level for free.
5. Referrals
When a friend you referred pays for a subscription, you both get one free month.
6. Teachers
Teachers pay once per book (training and exam) and may then teach that book permanently. There is no monthly teacher plan.
The optional teacher certificate costs US$19, needs an 80% exam score, and is valid for one year.
A teacher may write a public page (name, a short text, languages, certified books and open groups). It is shown to everyone only after the Genius MAP team approves it, and the teacher can ask the team to take it down at any time.
7. Your account
Only one login at a time is allowed per account. Signing in on a new device signs out the previous one.
Keep your password private. We may pause an account that is misused.
8. Content
The books and learning material are protected. They may not be copied, shared or resold.
